I took some measurements of mine. None with them mounted and off the truck though:

@Discount Tire was able to find me a set of 5 255/85/16’s a few weeks ago. Got them on before a camping trip we had planned last weekend and put them through their paces on highway, gravel roads and very light trails, and in the rain this week when we got home. Performed great!

They’re on 16” method 701’s and the truck has the trd lift with the rear block/stock springs swapped out for a heavy duty OME leaf pack.

Great thread with a lot of useful information.

Thinking about switching from KO2 to the AT4Ws. Anyone have experience with the AT4W in 255/80R17?

Hey @Discount Tire i tried starting a PM but it wouldn’t let me.

It looks like the new Falken is back in stock in 255/85r16. Is that actually the case or are they still back ordered? Also are there any upcoming promotions I should hold off for?

Sorry gentlemen, we are in limited engagement in the forums now and for any orders, feel free to call the number in our signature. There are approximately 285 units available for order in the 255/85R16 Falken A/TW4. Thank you for your inquiry and your support.

That's a shame. Personally, your company's engagement in forums is what lead me to DT for tire purchase and installation. I bet a lot of others are the same.

I understand that in light of the new merger. I hope going forward you’re able to resume being active here. This account has been a huge help to so many of us.

I'm sure some sales VP only tracked the direct sales as a result of forum engagement (orders placed via PMs) and based its value on that. I know it'd be hard to quantify, but they need to also factor in how many people, including myself, read these threads you participate in and then go to a DT location to buy tires based on the info you provide here.

I’m about to pull the trigger on some 265/75 16 AT4 for an all stock ‘21 off-road. Going up from oem 265/70 16. Pretty sure I’ve read that I won’t run into running issues but wanted to double check. Can anyone confirm?

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
That tire isn't even 32" tall, you can easily fit 33" tires on the stock wheels.

Is there any real benefit from sizing up to a 75? Or really just more for looks?

Looks a little bigger, you get around 1/2" added ground clearance, and your speedometer is almost exact (but your odometer will show about 3% short).

So I got my tires on and noticed the ride quality compared to my ko2s right away!

What's the verdict? Do you like them better than the KO2's? What size did you get? I'd love to see some pictures, I have an AG green Tacoma too. I also have KO2's currently and I've been looking at these as a replacement option. Thanks!

I know it’s not the exact same tire, but just installed the some rubitrek RT’s. Super smooth compared to my worn out AT3Ws haha. Did you all have to reset your tpms? Mine keeps showing blanks after a reset. I’m wondering if they messed my sensors up.

I'll get you a photo....but you quoted my verdict lol. I love the ride and I notice the difference. I had E rated tires before and never again will I get those ....don't need them .
