Lol, I just can't look myself in the mirror and drive one. I feel like I'd have to stop and find a flat bill before I purchase.

Thats pretty silly in my professional internet opinion. FWIW, I haven't seen any flatbill-wearing dudes driving Raptors around.

I dont know I think they get a "douchebag" type stigma. I only see old dudes driving them. Wife said I can have one, not sure how I'd feel about an 80k truck parked out in the driveway (wont fit in garage with bikes and wifes car).

I've been looking at Ranger Raptor videos; it looks pretty nice! You might want to consider that instead. Seemingly more capable than a TRD PRO, 20k less than F150, fits in garage.

I guess I just don't understand it. I encounter 5-6 "douchebag"-looking tacomas on my daily commute and have only looked at the few raptors I see in jealousy. Its obviously in an entire different league and price-range, so a comparison isn't fair, but if douche-ma (douche-stigma) were the biggest turn off for me, I wouldn't consider a Tacoma in a million years. Have you looked around this place? :anonymous:

As for not fitting in the garage, I wouldn't worry about it. Most vehicles live outside. They're built for it.

Now I didn't say there weren't an abundance of brodozers rolling around.. But definitely plenty of bro-comas too. Honestly though man, with your hesitation to jump into the 4th gen after owning countless tacomas before, it leads us to conclude that:
    a. we don't know what you want,
    b. you don't know what you want,
    c. 4th gen searching is a fun distraction away from a healthcare job in BHM, and
    d. all of these things are okay.

Good call on not getting the black. Your local dealer can get you a bronze if they want to sell you a truck.

This^ makes me laugh. 4,700 sq ft! Five bedrooms. Six bathrooms! What a glut. I’d fill that house with so much junk it would make the Madonna Inn look like the Virgin Mary’s donkey bedtime arrangements.

(Malvolio chuckles to himself, pauses, looks out the window at 1800sq ft homes on 5k sq ft lots going for 1.3M down the street from him here in Orange County...and then lets out a grand sigh.)

Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
If it's any help making ya feel better about your decision, I've owned every Taco since the mid 90s and this is by far the biggest improvement. I also bought the TRD ORP (white)....with like 2 options being OEM mudflaps and a Toyota bed mat (I actually wanted both). $52K MSRP, and they discounted it by $1,000...also the trade on my 4R was very good (matched KBB trade in on "excellent" option for option so I know it was accurate).

I absolutely love this truck. The only issue I've had is I can't get out of the damn thing and already have 5K miles on it. LOL

    Enjoy....that's one sharp Taco!!

Literally no reason to not get what you want in a brand new, current model vehicle unless you make your living on clickbait and need to be first on the scene for 'professional' reasons..I mean we all know Toyota will never make it so you can get EXACTLY what you want, but..aim for close 'nuf!
