Are you disappointed in me for a trading in my Tacoma to get a 4Runner?

I take my tundra on all the long trips. It’s so comfortable for the long days and if you set the cruise at 70, fuel economy is pretty decent. I’ve done plenty of 12+ hour days and the extra space is real nice for the long trips. On the way back from Maine, there were times I’d go 4 hours between stops without even thinking. It’s like driving a recliner around.

you can definitely sleep inside it. Heck I could sleep across the back seat of my tundra and it would be fine.

Honestly when I was traveling all over the country for work, I wish I would have done it in the tundra instead of the Tacoma. I’m not sure I can go back to the midsize truck life at this point.

I mean.... If I wasn't poor.... I'd be rocking a Titan XD Pro4X (with the V8 of course, not that silly baby Cummins)

Kinda missing a full size after towing this year. Not even 20K on the Taco. :anonymous:

I very much like the 400-500 mile range I get with the 38 gallon fuel tank. Or 300+ towing.

Not sure about towing though I consistently get over 400miles out of this 21.1 gal tank.

We have a 2014 Sequoia Platinum. It’s amazing for road trips. I love the power the 5.7 has. Down side is about 15mpg town and 16-17mpg highway stock. I’m sure the brand new ones do a lot better, but I’ll stick with the 5.7. You’d be surprised what it can do OffRoad. Launched and recovered Jetskis from a rocky beach with zero issues.

Towing with the taco is 150-200 on a good day depending on what you are towing. I usually started looking for gas around 150 miles and also carried a spare 10 gallons with me on longer trips.
