What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Not today, but last Saturday I bought this used Softopper from a fellow member up in North Bay Ontario.
Then on Monday, drove from Kitchener Ontario to Du Quoin, Illinois (1136km, 706mi) and back again on Tuesday (total 2272km, 1412mi). The return trip was through light rain punctuated by torrential downpours produced by tropical storm Beryl. I was rather amazed that the Softopper kept the cargo I bought completely dry!

That's how it goes! Pulling engines in summer, dropping transmissions in winter hahaha ask me how I know.

 

Why not just use spring or fall for major work. Or does that just make too much sense?

Just a nice wash, wax, detail, dog hair removal. Had some minor scratches buffed out.

Added the Sherpa on this morning before the sun makes my garage unbearable. Again shoutout to @James_TruckBrigade for the hookup

after having the og prinsu on my ram I like the build of the Sherpa way more. The rubber mounting plates are nice too. One thing I didn’t like about it was how the feet are. Apparently there angled slightly and your suppose to be able to tell a difference but I couldn’t until I had set them on the truck with the cross members on. Of course I had to switch both of them.

I need to go write todays date on my TRD Air filter. I installed a cold air intake, and I don't want charged for cleaning & or replacement of the filter. That is an excellent recommendation. I would recommend everyone start Marking Oil filters with dates, Air Cleaners, Cabin Filters etc. I have been screwed once by a Toyota Dealership.

 

I like it a lot better than the Aluminum. I have been thinking of doing it.

 

Everyone knows each sticker equals 5hp. It is necessary.
