I would have to write down the list -- and then find where I put it.

Very much rings true in life. It's not what you know as much who you know.

I saved a fortune cookie fortune that read something along the lines of “The mark of true leader depends on how much they empower others to lead.”

I can count the number of bosses meeting this on one hand in my 45 years in the workforce and my current boss is definitely not one of them :annoyed:

Coincidentally, I was on two roofs setting up cameras this morning.

Where I was heading up to for the first one:

    Agree 10X :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Fortunately for the last 10 + years I had an excellent boss.

The company railroaded him to bring in "the guy who will fix everything" o_O.

Six months later I saw the company sign in my rearview mirror for the last time. :)

BTW: My old boss now has a job making 2X his old salary.

I find the company there at the bottom more enjoyable.

    ... several hours later ...

I unearthed this object  , it did seem somewhat familiar.

Turns out it is called a work surface!

Last time I had it this cleared was before Christmas - I wrap Mrs Greens gifts here at the garage - without help from the cats. :D

This is why I don't have work benches. My roll around fab table and lift table are easy to keep clean ( not that I do). It's easy to roll the table of tools to where they probably live.

This is a work table in the tool room, I have a bunch of lights in there, the stereo and a chair too. ;)

I can heat that room up and tinker* without heating the main room in the winter.

    :gossip: ... * or nap.

Stormaggeddon up this way. Rain, lightning, thunder, no hail though nor high winds. Good luck to us all
    IMG_7377.jpg

Edit: the main NH station is horrible. The North Country is barely cover if it’s covered at all. We flipped over to a VT station that covers this area much better. The weather professional was in the midst of describing a tornado warning with radar indicating there was on traveling ON THE ROUTE I TAKE TO WORK

Spent the last hour moving the cats and some crap to the basement. The tornado warning lapsed but we’re still under a watch until midnight. It’s gonna be a fun night :angrygirl:

My mind instantly went to: “The more you drive, the less intelligent you are.” from Repo Man

    Good morning everyone :hattip:

The house is still standing but I’m sure the creeks have risen, lotsa rain and lightning over night. Should be an interesting commute.
    Edit:
Slept throught this one…. Ignorance is bliss:
    IMG_7378.jpg

Edit 2: Just heard the road I mentioned earlier with the chance of a tornado and my primary commute, is washed out in several locations. It’s the same road from which I posted some pics of the Connecticut River a few weeks ago.
