I just got back from a week in San Diego. Sunny and 75 the whole time. Beautiful.

I had no idea how far inland Sacramento was until I just looked. I thought it was coastal. We went inland toward Escondido 15ish miles in and it was +20 degrees from downtown/Mission Beach/Pacific Beach etc. Have fun over there today!

Yep. While I don't mind this....

We use a LOT of evaporative condensers. And when its so humid we cant make use of the evaporation, and it's this warm... our equipment isn't designed for this....everything is struggling.
These are southern gulf coast conditions.

I wish the would take this weather back, I’m a freaking puddle every time I move. Currently we don’t own an Air conditioner, but if this keeps up I’m about to become an investor.

I’ve got one kicking around if you want it. Though it is missing one of those side wings.

yep, just window fans. There are always a few days that it’s rough, but this week plus with no end in site shit isn’t ok.

Thanks, I truly don’t want one, but if this keeps up, I may have to get one.

It not cooling off at night is the biggest problem for me, it was 77 at 4:30 outside this morning. And I am not a fan either, I cant just sit down in front of it. When you get back outside it makes it so much worse.

Now AC in the shop is different. But I need to do alot of work ahead of that.

Let me know one way or the other. If you aren't too terribly far away I don't mind swinging it to you.
Looks like a wire ferrule, but can't say for certain

    No window shakers here.
However, kids were whining because it backed off to 80 during the day(my setback temp). Still 50%rh in here, so, not too bad.
Dropped it 78 on the first floor, 2nd floor is 80 or 82, until dinner, then is starts pulling down to 72 for night time.
I really don't talk about to my energy bills....

Yeaaaaaah what moron would hold it at 72 all day

We're only about 1100 sqft AC'd, laundry/mudroom doesn't have it ducted in. It should. That's a problem for future Rob.
