They’re gonna have issues at that age. I’m just tired of car dependency. It’s one thing to fix up cars as a hobby, cause then you expect to spend money on it. I just don’t think it should be required to get to work; either that or go into debt for a newer one. The fact that I can bike to work now relieved a lot of stress, since I can wait on parts for my truck and not have to rush into anything.

It felt good working on your vehicle though right? Fixing an issue yourself and firing it up after it was done?

You'll get better at it, I promise. You know we're all rooting for you cause that's just it, these vehicles are old.

    Reliable AF, but old.

Ok fuck now I am getting misfires big time. The truck was stumbling when I accelerated and had a weird growling noise. Gas fumes smelt weird too. Shit maybe I blew the head gasket when the fan came loose? It’s not overheating though..

That’s funny, but I’d like to actually know what’s wrong. I didn’t see anything wrong with the wires on the right side of the engine, where the misfires are coming from.

Did the fan knock off any wires? Theres that sensor wire right in the front on the timing cover, forget what its for, but I could see the fan fucking with that. Or maybe the a ground wire somewhere? Like the one that connects at the drivers side of the intake plenum

Depending on how rowdy that fan got on release maybe it even could've reached up and touched the plug wires?

Maybe double check the plug wire order, that could cause a one-sided misfire
