Peek in the radiator, see if it's muddy poo water

 

That's my thought. Misfires are all on one bank right? So I would assume that it being waster spark ignition if it would effect both sides? Sounds like possible a cam position sensor is out of whack which I think is that sensor you're referring to.

Nick, passenger side of the front of the engine, find that connector that is down below the radiator hose and verify it's condition.

This one? It looks like it’s been taped up at some point, but I don’t see any frayed wires or anything like that.

 

Kind of looks like it could use a half turn to tighten down completely.

It seemed snug but I still tightened it down a bit more. Didn’t seem to make a difference.

 

Btw I did get a spark when I was tightening the positive terminal of the new battery yesterday. Could this have messed something up with the ignition? The neg terminal wasn’t plugged in when it happened.

 

Is it behind the timing cover, or the one I was holding in the photo above?

It looks ok, but it is loose dangling around there. I think the little bracket that holds it os broken.

my bad yes they are driver side. also make sure the plug wires are good where they connect to the pass coil packs
