    I think I heard it's one of very few remaining old growth forests on the east coast. 300 year old hemlocks. Highest waterfall in the state. Over 50 feet.

    The town is mchenry which is named for James mchenry, signer of the declaration of independence, friend of Washington and his secretary of War. He purchased 1k acres of land in this area where the lake was eventually made. There is a cove named after him too.
