I have a newb tire question since tires are the topic.
Do mud or hybrids feel like your riding on a rumble strip or grumbly when crawling on pavement (no gas, no brake).
Starting to get that feeling with 7k miles on these hybrids.

Mine definitely do. Sometimes I think something is wrong with the 4Runner, but then I remember. :D

    That's reassuring.
It could easily be mistaken for bearings or joints.
    That's pretty sweet.
I prefer to stay outta swamps.
My dumbass wasn't smart enough to go take a walk first and see what was under all that tall grass.

Definitely! The bad thing is that it could easily cover up the sound of a bad bearing.

Floatation is over rated. Tall skinnies for the win!

Although, I’m pretty sure they only work in full send mode, and your skidplates need to be flat enough to get on the step :D

Ukrainian no-name tires on a 24 year old rav4 could be mistake for bearings :p

    I resemble that statement.

Hey sorry guys I ran out of cell service and just got back to some. Unfortunately I wasn't worried about pictures at the time as it's the first time I've gotten stuck since I was 14 and that was on the beach. Yeah I was aired down but the ruts through the trail on the north of Kaine lake road were DEEP so that's probably why the bottom fell out from the front of my truck. Water went over the bumper and I backed out. So far the rest of this trip going pretty easy

It seems like a very reasonable purchase since you’ve had your truck so long!

unless you went and traded it on a sequoia and didn’t tell us

You will know if you have mud tires. My neighbors were starting to complain about how loud my truck was with my Km3's... not kidding. You could not have a conversation in the truck at anything over 45 mph. Mud tires are loud. Period. But those things do a job very well... mud. My Kendas are so quiet and do pretty darn well in mud.

The Yokohamas are definitely tough to ignore. But, they're pretty reasonable for MT's.

I’m trying to figure out why no one has commented on the regal splendor of that christmas sweater.
