Yeah I was thinking about it from the user end perspective (you in this case)

 

We use the wires on walk in freezer doors but always 120 or 208. and use the one that looks like romex but its a heater on piping to keep it from freezing

 

I don't think there's really way around needing a drier though

 

Im actually on OT rn staring at this walk in cooler that’s having issues all because the engineer dont know how to engineer. Set up exactly how they want it but it dont work.

 

I was being facetious in my "no drier" post, but was genuine in the one prior regarding an auto draining water separator; uses some sort of float that automatically opens at the bottom to release any trapped moisture

Could also incorporate an auto drain on the tank drain that runs every few minutes (simple solenoid that opens and closes) to drain any water inside

We've had issues with water drains freezing solid, and then the tank freezing

 

Unless you can keep the tank itself warm (at the drain), the whole goal for the auto drain at the tank is to remove moisture periodically to prevent it from accumulating at all

No moisture = no freezing

The drain, will just open automatically and use the pressure inside the tank to expel whatever water is in the tank, then it closes automatically again

It'll do this every 15mins, or even 5 mins, some you can set and others are preset

But constant draining of your tank means no water build up and I doubt water in the tank will freeze within 5 minutes

Oh yeah. Only a few hours in and it's up to $10k which is good. Have a while week ahead so hopefully it can climb a bit higher. I feel very happy with how the photos turned out so hopefully they help sell the car.

 

I think it'll definitely help, it looks great. Seats look good for the age too btw.

 

It has some things that show it's age but I'm happy with how it looks. It's no show car but that's what makes it an excellent driver.

I've bought once and this will be the third time selling. I haven't been burned, and it's way more interesting than selling a car in Craigslist/marketplace and dealing with a bunch of tire kickers. I post it no reserve and it sells for market value 7 days later.

Last low mileage vehicle I sold was my C6 and I got more than asking price through Carmax

Only had like 67k miles on it as I hardly drove it and I didn't get as many bites as I had hoped on my other forums

Put electric heat tape and insulate the drain line. Thats what we doo for drains in walk in freezers. Also common practice for hydroponic equipment in areas that get below freezing

we do the same on our receivers

 

I had to get creative with one of those dual hitch things while driving back front NC to Utah. The tung on my trailer was bending so I slapped one of those on to lift it higher
