~2.5-3” up front. But from my understanding, lift height shouldn’t have any impact here. You will need a good alignment though. Your local off-road shop should be able to get you dialed in. I should mention I do have aftermarket UCA’s too (JBA)

Gotcha. Thanks for the info. Yeah, I'm assuming that would make a difference when it comes to alignment specs. I still have factory uppers for now.

Aftermarket uppers may make rubbing worse, not better. Just depends on your setup. I've got no rubbing currently with stock UCA but am going to be adding some Dirt King UCA's to help get my caster up a little more into factor spec. I really hope I can get away without doing a CMC, but we'll see. Seems everyone's setup and truck is just different enough where you can't know for sure until it's installed.

There’s a big thread on 255/85/16 on stock suspension. I ran them on my stock truck for several months before we did the suspension. Wheeled it too and it did great here’s an old pic of her

Great to hear that more are being made. This is what these trucks should have come stock with...

Cool to see the same setup I have but 0. I'm running - 25mm, stock pro cmc 3 degrees of caster. Honestly probably going 305/70r16 in the future just to try something different. 20240423_102940.jpgScreenshot_20240424_093719_Gallery.jpg

Looks great! Curious what do you typically keep PSI at?

I may upgrade to 17” wheels for my next set we’ll see. Always fun to switch things up. The RRW in brushed aluminum have me drooling but I won’t be upgrading until these tires are shot

I've been running 34psi, they seem to be happy around there. I love 16s and refuse to get 17s lol, these rims are so much lighter then the 17s too.

Haven't checked in to TW in a while, but I was reading through this thread before pulling the trigger on a set of Geolander MTs in this size. Thought I'd pass along that simple tire has them for $255/tire and an active 10% discount code 'springsale410'.

Can confirm that 255/85R16 are the best size tire for our 2nd gens. So long as it's stock or slightly lifted. Got my Falken AT4W from Discount Tire on Tuesday and they are killer. Still don't know how they are C rated when they are as heavy or heavier then a lot of E rated tires but all in all very pleased with the Falkens in this size.

Sorry my man no Instagram here. This site is the closest thing I have to any social media. But no worries, I can take more pics of the wheels. Just realized you sent a pm to me. Gimme a day and I'll have the info for you.

I’ve been searching a good bit but can’t seem to find a good answer for 2nd gen. I’m lifting my 2013 just under 2in in the front. Where exactly will I need to trim (if any) with 255/85/16 MT tires used for overlanding/ trails? It’s all stock other than the near future suspension lift front and rear. Thanks guys, love the forum.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Stock wheels, you shouldn't have to trim anywhere. Stock mudflaps may rub a little. If you do rub a good alignment shop should be able to push the tire forward enough and still get good numbers.
