I picked up a '23 OR with 7k miles in January...

Added a Softtopper, more aggressive tires, bumper cap chrome delete, and tint. Here she is after Schnebly Hill Trail in Sedona.

My wife and I took a month off to camp around the Southwest US; here is the packed-up state of the rig. Coolers, pots and pans etc. are in the cab.

We used a TopperTent that connects to the SoftTopper. It worked well for us, but we never got any significant weather, so I can't speak on how watertight it is. The SoftTopper itself is great with rain. We never had any water get in the closed topper, despite driving through a few storms.

My friend cut me out some 3/4" plywood boards to use as a telescoping sleeping platform (à la BamBeds). These boards sit on the rails around 9" off the bed, so we have room to put bins of stuff underneath and leave them there when we make or unmake the bed. It's a bit of a squeeze to get in and out of the 'tent', given the vertical clearance, but it's nice and cozy once you're inside and we never had any issues with the setup.

Stretching a little at Horse Canyon in the Needles - Canyonlands National Park. The million branches poking into this trail definitely gave us some battle scars.

One of the 4x4 roads in Arches IMG_6806.jpg

Strawberry Point in Dixie Natl Forest. It's so rewarding being able to access places like this through offroading. Maybe one day I'll be able to live out in Utah, because it really is an outdoorsman and nature admirer's absolute dream.

Putting the top tread plate on the sliders. I think I like the look of it without more, but it's just safer and more useful as any kind of step with it on. Plus I think it still looks badass

Anyway, thanks for entertaining me. I'm done with the mods for a while I think, except for a TRD Pro grille and blackout lettering maybe :spending:

I'll likely be posting some more pics/vids from some of the cool places that our trusty steed took us on our 6k mile voyage.

That looks like an awesome trip and I love that color! I do hate that the softtopper back window part is such a huge dust magnet. Im going to bring a leaf blower next time because i hate beating the dust off like a rug.

Now this is sick. Love what you've done so far. What do you have planned for the future?

Thank you, I appreciate it! I know, the dust is pretty insane right? We ended up buying a hand brush because we got covered the first time we opened the back to set up camp. I kinda like beating the hell out of the cloth for some reason lmao, but we definitely get dusted back so the leaf blower would be amazing for that :)

Thanks! I'm pretty swamped but I think I'll check out the offroading down here in Texas for a while. I'd like to get up to the Ozarks as well at some point too. As far as mods go, I want skids once my wallet recovers
