Happened so fast I couldnt say if it was scary or not. One second riding along, next second, I'm in a tank slapper and my wife is covered from head to toe in deer hair. LOL No sooner got stopped and I climbed off when the guy in the minivan who was behind us came running up asking, are you going to harvest that deer. LMAO Several other people came up to check on us, I told the guy no, he tore ass and was butchering it on the side of the road. At Doc Martins restaurant at the Taos Inn that night, my wife was limping and the waiter asked if she needed help. She explained what happened, he kept her in margaritas on the house the rest of the night.

Debatable. Sounds like you/wife had some physical recovery.

That was 1am and I was on my way to go ride dirtbikes in the morning. Unloaded the dirtbike and riding gear as fast as I could. Then spent the next 5 hours waiting for the wife to come get me while I stood at a gas station watching my stuff all night

She was okay, sore but no damage other than a deep bruise with a large knot. She made it probably 700 miles home straight through. I was gonna get a room in Amarillo, she said just point us home. Left before daylight, home before dark.

Crazy thing happened today. I took Amaris’s R3 out for a test ride since installing the new chain, sprockets, sprocket studs and nuts. Anyway I made a left hand turn on a back road and pulled to redline in first and second then clicked third just crested a hill and I saw another bike coming at me. I was goin 55 or so in a 35 and did the biker wave and holy crap if it wasn’t a cop. He just gave the wave back and just kept going. Today has been my crazy lucky day.

There's one in my yard right now that's hauled more motorcycles to racetracks than there are blades of grass on a football field (joking of course). When proper precautions are taken, fasteners triple checked, locktited, bearings greased, etc. they're just fine. This one has had many fenders replaced, lights replaced, plywood boards replaced, still keeps on keeping on. Go to any trackday or race weekend and you'll see more HF trailers than anything else. They ain't fancy, great, perfect in any way, but they get the job done for about a thousand bucks

I ride with a disproportionate amount of Bonnie’s. Most common bike by far in my scene. Nice bikes. But the guys on T 100’s all hate the highway and avoid it at all costs. T120 on the other hand do very well. I’ve done a few miles of my own this way and found it performed very well up around 80.

    Something to consider.

    That's five!

Looks like the ends fold up and down though (kinda neat) and require the straps to hold them up.

Would not be a fan of doing and undoing those personally.

The hood scraped off the top of the boxer motor so something got ripped.

They did but took their sweet time. "Had" to do a fire investigation. Then I didn't get jack squat other than $200 total for the stuff that burned in the car which was a bunch of camping stuff.

Got what I expected to get out of the car but it still hurt then having to car shop again
