    getting there....
Long enough piping and a muffler........backpressure is there.

For all the tree huggers...........yall ever see the crap coming out of diesel trucks....eighteen wheelers....now I can see some environmentalists complaining about that. I don't see our trucks or cars anywhere close.

"back pressure" doesnt mean anything. As long as the scavenging isnt affected, nothing much will change. To add, the Top end will see a bit of a gain.

That's mostly unburned diesel. Diesel engines produce less CO and HC than a gas engine. But they produce a lot of NOx but within the last 2 years the EPA required them to have a special injection system that sprays a special fluid that breaks down that NOx

Bad Idea, I did it to my 2.7 and got terrible gas mileage and lost power. Plus, it sounded like hell and I have a flo pro max muffler that sounds good. Hope this helps!

Maybe not as loud, but still would sound bad imo. Plus, your still going to lose MPG and power which the 4 banger needs all it can get!

These are the numbers I got:

    21 - 24 mpg city/hwy with the Cat

    15 - 17 mpg city/hwy without the Cat

I haz DTLT headers and Wicked Flow Exhaust, it does sound raspy when its cold after it warms up its fine. Low end feels aboot the same, and top end i can feel a bit moar power! Plus I have tw sicker, doug thorley sticker, and URD sticker so that equivalent to 26 hp, and i gain front pressure :D

Ever wonder why the Tacoma's don't have diesels in north america ever heard of ULSD that all the diesels are now burning it is an issue and it's being addressed VW sold no US diesels in 08 because they did not pass the 50 state emissions. Any new diesel is cleaner right now then any gas engine with out a cat including trucks.
