it’s got wheels. If it’s dropped on pavement, it will move
I am assuming it’s on pavement

Personally I would just call and have them reposition it. If you do attempt post a video.

    Ha it’s an off road!
    Try crawl.
Seriously call and have them move it and talk to whoever dropped it!
This new age lacks common sense !

If it's like every other 20 or 30 yard can I've ever seen, it has rollers on one end and skids on the other. Or possibly skids on its entire length.

Respectfully disagree.. It would be no different than doing a burnout. Takes X amount of torque to break the tires free and spin. Driveline components should be able to withstand that.

Honestly though I think most important part of this Friday thread is the rigging. Some old rusty 1/4" chain looped over the tow ball should be just right!

Hmm, yeah, that's a good point. As long as the dragging setup isn't done in a way that adds a lot of tongue weight / down-force to the hitch/receiver/tow ball.

Just trying to get the thing moving from a stop isn't going to put any more stress on the driveline than it's designed for. The engine outputs X torque, the driveline parts are rated for that torque multiplied by the gearing reduction s, so you should be good. It's when you start bouncing or jolting things that the impulse / shock loading can get you in trouble.

Although I agree that the rigging setup can put an excessive amount of force on the hitch, and you might bend or break something that way.

As stated I believe roll offs only have 2 rollers. And why take the chance when it’s not really up to op?
Call them and have it moved or just picked up F them. Find another company to use.
I’d like to see a video but would I try NO.
It’s my daily and being broken is a PIA!
Maybe I’m being baited with a Friday thread but I’m hooked now so screw it.

should be 30 or 40 yard can since it has a door
Skids run the whole length, but the wheels are below it. Maybe locally dependent but I’ve never seen one without 4 wheels

In the 3rd Gen section you could tow it but a 2022 in the 4th gen section? Nah, not gonna happen. go buy a 4th gen then try it.
