Have you tried the quick connects for the garden hose?

 

I have not, but I recently bought a pressure washer and have been enjoying those quick connects already

I don't think I've seen those before

 

Speaking of belts. I checked the belts for the first time since I did my water pump with the OTC Belt tension guage thing. It's kinda cool. I used it when in stalled the new belts and just checked it out of curiosity really


It was a little tricky getting it past the charge pipes and could only get a picture on it on the alternator belt with my phone dangling into the fan shroud

A little on the loose side but considering outside temp maybe it's where it should be

 

It's a game changer. I only have a single exterior faucet on my property and no sprinkler system so I'm constantly changing the attachments, it's like an air hose but with twice as much hydrogen

 

Late to the party, but Hays Kansas has some of the finest roundabouts in the midwest. That's i70 running east-west. Getting to the QDOBA for lunch is a process.

 

I could definitely make use of those

I use one to fill up a bucket (for my CNC table) and for running a hose to the pressure washer

So it'll be nice to have a quick connect

Other faucets are on other sides which I'll never use

It looks like the vacuum line that goes into the silencer box on the OEM intake for my model but probably different from yours

I actually have another one in the ground in the back yard. It's an ancient metal thing that was supposed to be irrigation water but it's not actually hooked to anything. I even bought water rights and everything but have no way of actually using it

Not impressed with my 04 going up Teton pass today. Not sure if it’s the ETCS-I system or what, I figure even at altitude I should’ve been able to go up that grade a bit quicker. Got stuck pegged at 3K rpm on a pass going to Woodland Park, CO yesterday. Couldn’t get it to downshift but finally it shot up to ~4900rpm and got me up to a decent speed for traffic. Today mashing the pedal up and (all the way) down, toggling the O/D button, pulling over and restarting the truck, and shifting into lower gears and back to drive didn’t help. My throttle cable is tight and adjusted properly. I know the hybrid throttle body has a very short lifespan before it runs into issues vs normal throttle bodies.

I’ve seen a few people replace them at 250-300K and have massive response improvements when cleaning didn’t help them. But I’d hate to just assume that’s my issue.

The transmission has had the overdrive off enabled since I got to Colorado Springs. The CSF radiator I ordered with an internal trans cooler shipped the day I left (ordered it months ago) and my standalone cooler can’t handle it alone very well. The real answer? R150F swap…

Which pass was that? I assume you were somewhere on US 24? Those grades are deceptively tough to drive. Easy to forget that you're at 9,000+ft.

Even with the 5mt (behind a 3RZ), it can be hard to hold 4th gear. Gotta get comfy on windy roads and keep your momentum up.
