Worst 3rd Gen colors?

Superwhite is objectively the worst paint because it doesn't stay bonded to the body of the truck.

 

Anyone who hates on ELM is a boring person who dislikes fun.

 

Worst 3rd Gen color for looks, durability or hard to keep looking clean ?
The two white vehicles I owned were the easiest to keep looking clean (except mud) and my 2005 Subaru Legacy in pearl white was beautiful.

 

Mine (white) literally was a work truck in its previous life. It was owned by Industrial Fumigant Company. I like that it stays a little cooler in the sun, but that's the only benefit.

If I could choose any color I'd pick Electric Lime Metallic. All this hate for fun colors is how the most cars end up being nothing but white, gray, silver, black, and sometimes red. A bright color might offend some people, but at least it's more fun.

 

White is the worst color it’s just plain old white and is it really white after it all peels off?

Not a fan of ELM at all. I test drove a 2022 superwhite tacoma and you could see the paint bubbling. It did not look good and did nothing stir the loins.

 

1st. Any white. It does not last. Arguing with toyota about my wife's rav4.

2nd. The blue that looks purple. Terrible color

3rd. Lime green.

We all know silver is the best color, even though I'm in a barcelona red.

 

Super white: I wouldn't have picked this if it wasn't for the peeling issues.

Calvary Blue: I never cared for the pastel looking color, personally.

Electric Lime Metallic: Also never really understood the hype behind this color.

 

Start wrapping from the back, so leading edges are tucked in and wind (from teuck moving forward) does not pick up the leading edge.
And clean, clean, clean and clean again before the application.

 

Or, they have eyes...

 

White. - can't halp expecting a roto-rooter logo on the side... (& flaking issues). Hard no.

Black - most like to say: "Black looks fancy and expensive" Pfft.
No, it looks stupid when dirty which is 99% of the time becaise you cant afford a full time "a fancy" cleaning crew. Oh, and those swirls glaring on reflection... oh yeah... sexy.



Both of these are non-colors.

For Tacoma, I don't like the lime green but all other colors I like. That lime green is just......I guess suitable for attention seekers. I think lime green will be on the books as rare of a color as yellow for cars and trucks. It only fits a really small market.

Not a Tacoma color for 2nd or 3rd gen, but if it was then Terra would be another disliked color. If we are counting 4th gen, then please add Terra as #2 under lime green for me.

 

I've been over primer gray cars for a decade now. Cars should be painted.

No that doesn't sound right. I think it was the first thing.

 

I like yellow! When I was a kid, I always wanted a yellow jeep, then after watching back to the future, I wanted a Toyota truck (but yellow instead of black... frontiers looked pretty good in yellow) with KCs on it. If Toyota made tacomas in yellow. I would have one right now.

 

Lunar rock is one of those colors that will age poorly and have people thinking what were we thinking
