Toyota App problems

I'M having a problem when I use my IPhone voice commands to start the truck. I say start my Toyota or lock my Toyota and I get this message I have never seen that says You'll need to download an app for your car, or add car key to the wallet app. anyone else have this problem?

I was using the app up until a few months ago and didn't even know it had voice commands. So, I can't help you, but I'm curious. Bump for that

 

Yes you just push side iPhone button to activate Siri and say start my Toyota or lock/unlock my Toyota. Ever since the latest app update it’s been not working. Will probably just have to wait for the new app update for it to work again.

 

I just tried to use Siri like you said and nothing happened, i still had to get in my truck and put the key in the ignition to start it.

 

I think you it’s for 2021 and up and Toyota connect services, but it’s not working anyway.

 

Don’t worry, a hacker will figure out to start your truck using their iphone with voice commands. Just gotta find out from them how they did it.

weird. are you using a Iphone? im using 2.5.2 app version as well but when I say unlock or start my Toyota It says You'll need to download an app for your car, or add car key to the wallet app.
