I ended up flushing the whole quart through. I used the majority through the rear and then the remainder through the front. It didn't take long for it to start coming out clear. The Speed Bleeders worked well and the brakes feel nice and firm still after.

Thread revival. Finally did mine this weekend. Brake fluid was in desperate need of replacement.

That would be 120k. Original fluid from the factory.

Beyond overdue Nick. I remember saving this thread amongst several others that you authored and I’ve had the speedbleeders in my parts bin for a couple years now. Took a hiatus from TW due to some changes at work and finally had some time for myself. I may even get to install the energy suspension radiator support bushings that we talked about many years ago.

Hope things are well on your end! Been a long time bud!

No worries Sergio. I bet your truck is happy with the new fluid in there. Ah yes the radiator bushings were a great bang-for-your buck mod.

On my end, I have a brand new gas tank skid new in box, holding up the side of my garage, for X years now. :cookiemonster: I hope to get to it "soon", along with some brand new sealed-in-box aftermarket mudflaps that are holding down some stuff in the garage. :turtleride:

I am going to do some truck stuff this month if the weather does not get too cold on us. So far, very mild winter. :playball:

Just ordered a set. Planning on doing this as soon as they arrive. Very good write up!

I wish I came across this thread before doing my brakes for the first time! I def. didn't do mine in a way that would guarantee no air in the lines, is there a easy way to know if I did get air in the lines, what kind of issues will that cause me?
