He starts off with telling you that the hitch pin is too small. My 24 came with the right size pin. Then he says go to the Amazon link to buy a pin…. Then he tells you about the weight distribution hitch adapter. He is hard selling that stuff. He did have some good comments on how the truck tows. I prefer Truth over telling me you need to get something when clearly Toyota supplied the proper part to begin with. He should have said: “Hey folks i am supporting these products”…

I'd buy the Hilux over the Tacoma HEV it's much cheaper, the Tacoma does look much cooler being a SO long bad.

The 4G might be more desirable in Mexico as more of a fullsize truck. Competing with 1/2 tons but pricing could really be deciding factor between the two. I can see Mexican citizens wanting a slightly smaller foot print than a 1/2 ton. I also see the Tacoma being more of a luxury car than a work truck.

Hitch pins don’t come with trucks. If yours did, that is a new development. None of mine did. Besides, he was pointing out a locking pin.

It was clear he liked the hitch maker and said they were sponsoring him. As in a free hitch, or money, or both. He was super clear about it.

I haven't shopped on Amazon since last decade. For anyone intersted in forum member shopping habits.

Sadly this happens to every good YTer. They start out, have a great channel with NON BIASED reviews. Then as they get more followers they then turn into "sponsors" and then try to give you or pretend they are giving you a non biased review but they are basically sold their soul. Has happened to many great channels especially in the Jeep world. I usually subscribe and watch until they start doing that then I am done. Plenty to move along to. Just make your you unsubscribe to their channel so they don't get the credit.

Speak for yourself and certainly don't say "forum member shopping habits" because you are assuming and well you know what happens when you ASSUME. I use Amazon about daily and I ASSUME you are actually the minority on Amazon shopping.

I said I, as in me. I could have clarified that by saying as a forum member. Yes I know I'm the minority on Amazon shopping. Most people do buy on Amazon. When they are already looking at a device, people are more likely to browse and purchase something online.

Where do you buy products? Brick and mortar retail stores are disappearing around here.

I think you need to buy from Amazon.

disclaimer: I own AMZN stock. :D

For me, I live in the middle of Idaho. Nowhere. It's a two-hour drive over a 7'000' pass to buy a 3-pack of whitey-tities. Three hours to a Home Depot or Walmart or any specialty retail outlet.

    Amazon is a real plus.

Sheesh. It was just a decently informative video about towing with the new platform. Not sure why some of y’all are getting triggered. @Goin2drt @G-Dudeman

I can’t imagine what would happen if I posted some TacoBeast

Mine came with 2 hitch pins. One in the glove box along with the locking wheel nuts..and one in the box with the actual hitch that goes in the receiver..that was under the rear seat. I'll never tow anything.

Well, you paid for it! It’s the least they could do by going with a wider hitch box. I stand corrected. :D

Anybody know if any of these people had warning signs ahead of time? Mine has been shifting erratic this week; rev hanging, wrong gear, then go back to normal.

some and more and more and more and
They’re being triggered because they’re bored because there’s no new news on the front the the
    24 Tacoma so they’re getting restless waiting………..
Personally, I thought it was a very good and very informative video. A real eye-opener to what they have done and changed in this new platform.

My brother picked up a 4G Tacoma and let me drive it today. That thing has so much more pep in its step than my 3rd gen. Good for him. Its fine. I’m not jealous. He sucks! :sadviolin:
