IMG_1266.jpg My truck has two spacers up front and an aal in the rear, The largest front spacer measures 1 inch and the second one measures 1/4inch does this equate to 2.5 inches of lift. The spacers are on both sides

Ya those are mega preload spacers, they tend to ride super rough. Typically you double the size of the spacer on the front to get the lift amount.

Yes that’s what I’m experiencing I am planning to switch to billsten 5100s and ilbach 2.5 inch lift springs to get a better ride, and would like to maintain the same lift as the spacers.

Typically the more you spend the better the ride will be. Consider 6112s or equivalents as well. 5100s ride ok with springs, but there is better, and combined with springs I'd be curious how it compares.

I already have 5100s installed in the rear so I’m probably going to put them in the front two.

    What’s different about the 6112s

Bigger, way better designed for offroading. 5100 is more of an OE replacement, 6112 is a better offroad shock, especially on gravel higher speeds.

I really prefer the way the 6112 rides compared to 5100s with coils or eibachs.

Figured I'd just suggest it, especially if the price is right.

I had those big top block spacers. Hated them off-road.
Rode like I had no suspension and rattled me off my seat on an easy FSR. Rode fine on pavement, but introduce any bump no thanks.
I did eventually go with a 1/2in spacer but I eventually got rid of that too for a new coilover.

plus the big blocks ruined the ball joints faster for some reason.

I won’t tell you what to buy. Just share my experience, as everyone has their own criteria and mission parameters that suits their needs.

I put Bilstine 5100 on the FJ. They were nice especially for the price, and handled great. With the digressive tuning you can feel the sharpness of the object you are going over. Like the edge / corner of the railroad track. (With swaybar).
It’s perfect for that use case as it’s the family truck/SUV.

I installed Fox 2.0 on the Tacoma and it’s very nice. Floating over all the bs. (Swaybar deleted)
Going back to my rail road track analogy.
With the linear tuning the rail road track corner is more rounded and it isn’t has sharp nearly flat. It’s great for me to daily drive and off-road as I like a soft, plush, 2003 Land Cruiser like.

They're twice bigger therefore twice better. It is a truck shock.

5100 is a thin car shock.

If there is about 2.5 inches of lift up front would of be safe to assume that the previous owner did a 1.5 -2 inch AAl in the rear to level it ,there is a carrier bearing drop so I would assume there is a lift in the rear. There is no block.

I cannot say as they are less than a month old in the vehicle.

But I’m aware that it needs maintenance every 50,000miles.

hard to say without photos of the leafpack. But that would make sense.

Looks like aal when I’m looking at it but I can’t get a picture because I’m on vacation. I could send a picture of the trucks stance in a parking lot it looks a little nose low to me.

OP... what's your front/rear center of hub to fender measurements? I believe stock for 05-11 2nd gens was approx 20" front/22" rear (1.75-2" rake.) You say your "a little nose low"... that's a good thing if you haul or tow.

I think the current front lift should be 2.5 and probably has a 2 inch aal in the rear.

I think it’s a 2.5 inch front lift would you agree with that statement.

I’m planning on doing ilbach 2.5 inch lift springs and billsten 5100s to achieve the same lift as the spacers.
