It’s on tomorrow morning. Had to be in Seattle at 4AM for a sewer main tie in on Rainier. Stopped at the auto parts and got what I needed. This exhaust been sitting in my garage all week and my one day off I’m slapping that thing on in the morning

Wash and a fresh coat of ceramic coating and rainx. It was 96 outside last time I checked, garage lighting and harbor freight fans worth every penny I spent.

21k, oil filter housing switcharoo, I guess my “free” oil changes are over. Maybe I’ll rotate the K02’s and clean the inside of the wheels tomorrow.

ECGS bushing installed and another transmission drain and fill. Realized how close the wheel weights are to the calipers with the TRD baja wheels installed. Also realized I need swaybar links and lower ball joints, no problems yet but the driver's side moves super easy by hand. Upgraded LCAs aren't in the budget right now so what is the current go to for complete stock LCAs? Moog? Mevotech? OEM?

Ordered. Estimated delivery was today, but was scheduled for delivery yesterday. YEAH! Then an unexpected delay ...

Because I have moved at least 3 states in each of 2 cross-country moves, I use a "mailbox" in a UPS store that is 300 ft from a FedEX storefront. My bank has that address in a slightly compacted format (<suite of the UPS store><box in the store>) ... which is not a street-legal address. Previous Fedex shipments made it because of smart delivery people. This time they balked. I talked to a computer on the phone to change location to the 300-ft-away Fedex store. Then real person called to change the address to my home. I waited today for a while and no delivery at home. I decided to check my UPS box for normal mail and that package sat in my UPS box even with a label that said to deliver to my home. If I had waited until tonight to check that box no people would have been around to get ot from the stacks.

But ... I have it. Sadly I did break off the lower screw-attachment hole of the taillight assembly on the driver side. If anyone has a spare in Phoenix, let me know, but at least the upper screw holds it in for now.

I've wanted to do the "Stair/Steps" at Hollister Hills SVRA for over a year now and we were at Hollister last year but didn't have much time before sun down and we couldn't find the steps, lmao. Turns out we were right next to it and just had to go down a very short trail to reach it. Finally got to do it today and, as someone who is not experienced with off roading, this looked scary from the bottom. I've seen videos of these steps many times and cameras don't do justice for how steep climbs are, or how deep holes and ditches are. I couldn't see anything but my hood and clouds going up the steps. Fortunately, my spotter happens to be a naturally gifted off roader (he says he doesn't have much experience either but he could've fooled me). He went up this on the first try, no spotters, just leaned out the window while two footing the brakes and gas, didn't slide or lose traction. I don't know how the fuck he does it so easily. The it was my turn and he spotted me but the truck also surprisingly went walked up easier than I thought. Adrenaline was rushing through me to the point I forgot if I was even in 4H or 4L. You can see some chilling in the camping area at the top of the steps and one of them was cheering/clapping for me when I made it up, lmao. I've seen some 4runners and FJs struggle up these steps so I'm assuming longer wheelbase vehicles have it easier. All in all, it was pretty fun. Nerve wracking at first but pretty fun. Tires were aired down to 23ish but it doesn't really look like it because these things are stiff af and I usually keep them at around 40 otherwise the tread on the edges of the tires wear quicker. Maybe I should've aired down to 18 or 15.

PS. This is also where the cyber truck was having issues going up on the leaked TikTok/IG clips a few mo this ago before the cyber trucks were delivered to customers. My spotter in the clip is actually friends with a staff member at Hollister who had to be there the day the cybertrucks were being tested out there and he said it was a shit show because several of them either got stuck or were struggling hard.

@2Shoes I have the exact same bumper, would you mind taking a pic from the top (hood open) I like to see how much space you have between winch and condenser because I have an aux tranny cooler already in place. Thanks in advance…..

Yeah, I have a one car garage and the wife took possession of it the day she bought her car. I see at least a pole car port coming. It was 90 here and sunny here yesterday.

After my lease was up on my 2020 TRD-Off Road I gave it back to the dealer and didn’t buy another pickup. I regretted it every day for two years. Yesterday I bought a 2023 SR5 SX. Already removed the decals.

coming soon, window tints and new grill.
