I am not in love with my 2023, i have 7k miles on it and own it outright, I can sell it for exactly what i paid for it and get into a brand new 2024 SR 4x4 double cab for $40k out the door after TTL($38.5k msrp, 4 cyl turbo, 4x4, double cab) is lower than MSRP possible currently or are these trucks flying off the lots? I would have to wait about 4-6 weeks I was told as my truck is currently sitting waiting to bored the cargo ship to come here. Was your wait time for your '24 accurate? I was told 4 weeks for my 2023 and it turned into over 2 months instead so I am a little hesistant, thanks!

Not sure where you are at bu there are a lot of SR models on the lots near me. See the pinned thread about what people are paying...most are below MSRP.

Well its hard to tell because some dealers use stupid tricks to say "oh youre paying such and such below MSRP" when really its just MSRP, here is a picture of the breakdown saying im paying 3k less than MSRP https://ibb.co/BnWB2N9

If the MSRP on the truck is 42k and you are paying 38.5k then you are getting it below MSRP.

Hard to say if that’s the true MSRP though, since retail price is different language. You know how they like to use tricky language to change perceptions.

    1. Get an SR5 over the SR for lots of good reasons.
    2. I got my 43k SR5 4x4 Long Bed, Supersonic, for 38k. Try for similar. The SR5 seems to be the most common version right now.
    3. Take your time, deals will get better in the fall towards Christmas when sales typically decline.

When mine was built, it popped up on the dealer's website and I was able to download the window sticker from there.

Here in new york state im noticing some “Dealer trickery in wording on there web sites,,,, some are listing the pricing however calling it. TSRP…..other dealers are using. SRP….. and very few will list. Few actually seem to be putting on websites. MSRP……this means as we all know. Manufactures suggested Retail Price. Not Toyota suggested or suggested. …….its Bullshit. Seel the damn things at Msrp , however theres always sombody that just has to have this or that and as long as dealers see them going off the lot they will continue this crap. Personally i find out the real MSRP , and work the deal below that untill i get the deal………Just my runon sentences and Bad punctuation.

Yeah, you should be able to build it on Toyota’s website and get exact or close to msrp. The variation will include port or dealer installed add on’s.

Your pricing link doesn’t work, but 38 seems about right for a non discounted price. For what it is, I think 35-6 would be more realistic.

After a 2350 mile road trip (TRD Off Road) I’m impressed.. Exceeded my expectations! None of the reported problems, trans is smooth, road and wind noise is excellent (Apple Watch measured 61-63 decibels) zero rattles or squeaks, wireless connectivity worked flawlessly, no rear Dif howl, overall drivability is excellent, average mpg was 20.7 hand calculated at 21mpg most often was above 80mph. Towed a 6000lb boat yesterday about 25 miles round trip and it did it with little effort.. Also had no problems after disconnecting, the pickup did ask to confirm the trailer was no longer attached. Probably gonna catch flak.. I’ve been looking at Tacomas for a few years but I just hated the drive train, and seating position. The Gen 4 is unrecognizable compared to the previous gen in a good way!

The light colored insert cloth seats, Katzkins on the way, and the seats are maybe a little firm? But 2 14-16 days in the seat anybody’s ass would probably get sore? JBL system was difficult to get tuned to my liking. The front end is too long, I think Toyota could have shortened it by 3-4 inches? Looks like a lot of empty spaces between the grille and engine?
