NASCAR is planning to use 2 different tire compounds at Richmond like they did for the All Star Race. Hopefully it works more effectively this time because I'm excited to see strategy.

10 minutes after I posted that I find out the oil line was leaking and they ripped the bottom of the car out and replaced it and to the back of the field. I think I’m going outside to fucken scream into the sky.

 

NBC coverage is a joke. Just run the damn ticker at all times and actually show the full field.

 

8 team spent some extra time on the right side on that stop. May as well when you're last on the lead lap

 

Watching the 8 in-car and it's frustrating to watch. He seems more than content to ride behind the 3 despite having runs down the straightaway quite often. Maybe he doesn't like the corner handling?

Not that Busch has much room to talk with the Chase Elliott incident. Sounds like LaJoie isn't taking any responsibility though, unlike Busch with Elliott.

What is all this talk about the rev chip? To me it sounds like it hit that when he started spinning as his wheels no longer had any traction at a time when he was already at the top of the rev range. Too bad because he had a great run too.

Lane Riggs after Tech just prior to the race. He crashed in practice andnhad to go to back up. This pic was taken as they were doing the National Anthem.
Lane had just jumped in the seat. Prior to that he was helping and had just jacked up the truck. His dad, Scott Riggs, was kneeling behind the truck.
