Your work is just so nice and a good use of your time.

Good morning. Decided to wait till today to visit my cousin and her husband. Both asked us to bring cookies and Pepsi. ;)

Everything mowed up yesterday... no, I didn't do it. Best gift I ever gave myself was hiring it out. Plus, I traded my almost new mower for some of the mowing. He says he'll use it to trim areas where he can't get "the brute" into. He's glad to have it, and I'm glad not to have it. Win-win.

Good morning everybody! Thanks to everyone for your well wishes for my better half. She was doing much better last night. Hopefully she will be even better this morning and got a good night’s sleep. Health issues are plain scary when you rarely have them. I truly feel for everyone who lives constantly with health issues. Sadly our daughter does and likely will to her last day baring science comes up with a miracle drug or therapy. 4 brain surgeries to date have all failed! I don’t have a lot of faith left in doctors.
Enough crying on my part! I have a great life and have been spoiled!
Too hot today again to be outside, so back to my man cave and learning something on YouTube, reloading, or planning a camping trip to the Wind River Range to fish and resupply my grandson and his hiking bud as they backpack 100 or so miles of the CDT (Continental Divide Trail).
Have a great day everyone and thanks again for your support!

    Morning all:

Glad that your lady is feeling better, I too have empathy for people for those who live with constant health problems, not the way life should be.
Sad to read that about your daughter, unfortunately doctors can only do so much.

:pccoffee: Good morning Porch Pals & Sue! Too beat and just too hot and humid to make the COTA show; there will be more. Fixing to fire the smoker in a while, and hope for some good ribs!

Well, the smoker controller worked perfectly - unbelievable tight temp control with the variable fan speeds it offers. But, this 321 recipe I tried this time was STILL too tender, with two ribs falling off during transfer! We still had plenty. I had a great bark, and fall off the bone is what wifey loves, I like fall off in your mouth. But I got lots of nice compliments, and it was tasty! Now that things work again, I'm going to just try some plain smoked next time - I was worried about drying out, but this controller is good!

That looks delicious, fall of the bones tender is definitely a :101010:!

Was sitting out on the front porch looking down at the pond, maybe see the bear, came around to the back door and there's the bear on the edge of the back yard pulling down branches on choke cherry trees and feasting on the choke cherries. :annoyed:
