evening gang no fresh fishies for me :-(

 

Speaking of fish... The Admiral and HS friend just spent 10 days on the lake in Canada that we do our cast and blast on in September. They caught at least one muskie a day which if you have ever fished for muskie is unbelievable. But they sent pictures and records of each to prove it LOL. Temps didn't break into the 60's until last week





They caught walleye at will and bacon wrapped walleye fingers and grilled them for supper every night.

If you don’t have a reel, are you casting or, are you flipping. But then again, Fly people do a roll cast.
But, do you have a fly rod? I always wondered if wardens would give you a hard time up here cause it’s not a traditional fly rod setup.

All these fish pics had me sitting in the boat inside the shop yesterday evening changing the line on my reels. But it’s pretty hot here this week to even think about fishing. But the boat is ready and I will be inside painting waiting for cooler temperatures
