Getting ready for wheel bearing and hub replacements and want to make sure I have all of the tools on hand before I tear things apart. I've found the torque spec for the axle hub nut (173 ft-lbs) but can't find what size socket I'll need. I'm sure it's in the forums here somewhere, but while I was able to search and find the torque spec I can't find the nut size. Does anyone know it off the top of their head? Thanks.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
A 1-3/8" socket is equal to 35 mm (off by 3/1000" or 0.003").

also make sure you have a flat scraper or prybar to make quick work of removing the protective cap.

I used a 3 foot length of black pipe on my breaker bar, came off easy. Had the wife step on the breaks.

It's probably worth having the 35mm axle socket in your tool kit but you can get a loaner axle socket set from AutoZone or O'reillys if you don't want to make the investment.
