we still indulge locally, but the quality difference is notable between whats 'good' in Indy vs what's 'good' in other places. I'm fortunate to travel a fair amount and when you get to the coasts, or even larger cities, Chicago for example. Good in those places is better. I can only imagine what exceptional sushi is like in the Seattle Vancouver area, given the population and the proximity to the Pacific.

Sushi and Sancerre...about as good as it gets in my opinion.

Yeah but kc has bbq, lol.

Put 37 miles on my ktm Saturday. Was running a harescramble loop and trying to keep pace each lap. Track was pretty washed out from rain though

Went for a nice yesterday morning, it was pretty hot but got 150 miles in. Rear tire is done so gonna order another Michelin Power 5. The counter shaft seal still leaks a bit so made an appointment to have it replaced under warranty for the 4th time. It's also due for the second service which includes a valve check so having SP KTM do that as well.

Rode to work this morning. Got out both days of the weekend but went early and didn't go too far. 58 consecutive days of riding so far. Last time I put fuel in the Tacoma was April 27th...... still have over 1/4 tank.

Was out before 7 am on Saturday, was already in the 70's, managed to pull a couple hundred miles. Just my self and my one best riding bud. Older dude who just rides. Great wrench too, just in case. Found a great new greasy spoon near some of our better roads, will be a launching spot going forward. Days like this have been few and far between this year. Good day. Man, I am done with this heat though. Would really like a break.

Swillin' coffee as the sun was coming up. Still gets me giddy.

That's a nice streak going. This is the first year I'm tracking my days/miles ridden and it's neat to see.

Sounds like a good day, and yeah this heat and humidity is rough. Was sweating my ass off yesterday :bananadead:

I've tracked days and miles for several years after following a friend's consecutive days ridden streak. I managed 680 days from March of 2017 through January of 2019 so a "perfect year" and a "perfect calendar year" but I doubt I'll ever do that again. In many ways that's actually harder than doing an Iron Butt ride. It was actually an obsession during that time in my life and I swore to myself I wouldn't push myself again like that. There were nights I went to bed, got up with an alarm at midnight to go for a quick 10 miles, then went back to bed so I could beat out an incoming snowstorm.

I bet that's challenging and it takes a high level of commitment!

Since I ride weekends only for the most part my day count is going to be very low, but making up for it with the miles as I'm usually out for hours at a time. Right now I'm at 37 days / 5,618 miles

All set for Laguna Seca next week and now with extra rubber! I ordered a new Supercorsa V4 from revzilla to run for the track day. FedEx lost it for a few days with no expected delivery date. They wouldn’t let me file a lost package claim until it had been a full week of no movement. So, I had to buy another tire as an insurance policy in case the Supercorsa didn’t show up. Turns out 200/55/17 sticky boys are hard to come by. Had to drive from OC to LA and my only option was the Dunlop Q5S. Later that night, tracking FINALLY updated and now I have 2 tires. I guess I have no other choice now than to sign up for Aprilia Days at Buttonwillow.

your sig leads me to believe you're on a Tuono V4??? Serious machinery. I'm a Piaggio junkie also, but a little different angle. My buddy just sold his V4 for a more 'tourable' bike but he loooooved it.

Yes! The Tuono was my dream bike for the longest time. I spent some time on an RSV4, but it was just too much power to use on the street and way too uncomfortable. This bike isn’t as fast but it’s still a god damn heart attack. The build thread hasn’t been updated in a minute but here’s how she sits now. Just need to remove the bar end mirrors and tape up the lights and I’ll be ready.

I was never a huge fan of the Guzzi retro styling but I do love that V85 TT and the V100!

I have a dirt bike that sadly doesn't get nearly enough seat time between CA restrictions and my street bikes :/

Hell yeah! Dunlops are great, just know they take a bit to warm up and get eaten up quick but they perform well. the Supercorsas should heat up much quicker

is that the October 21st day? I'm heavily leaning towards signing up for that one myself since it's right after a 2 day weekend I have planned at streets of willow.

hope you all got some good riding in this weekend! went camping so the truck got some much needed miles in. Got the R6 back from the shop just before leaving for camping on Thursday, nice to finally have all my streetbikes squared away for once lol
