    Good morning guys

That’s got to be bittersweet. Not your headache now but you had some good memories there

We do have some good memories there and my dad, a friend and I added those side sheds on the building.

Honestly, I'm kinda relieved to see them tear it down, I don't think the electrician who wired it was licensed :anonymous:

Been weird around the house, sent Cole off to camp yesterday around 2:00 and haven't talked to him. He has no cell phone and I really don't see him borrowing one to call us :pout:

Cry all you need to, just in a manly, non-girly way :D.

The time will fly and you both will have some stories to catch up on when he gets home

Our youngest and his new bride got back from their honeymoon yesterday. It's weird that he doesn't live here anymore. We are now empty nesters, which is also bittersweet. It's the way things are meant to go, and I'm glad about it, but also a little sad.

    Congratulations!

Some of these later life milestones aren’t really recognized for the adjustments they include. Just throwing it out there.

Gonna be a busy Monday in the boat shop.

Gotta go through and redo/fix a bunch of work done Friday and Saturday by the manager and one of thr riggers. Main issues are , shifting is backwards and the engine smokes like a freight train.

I suspect the smoking will clear on its own with some run time. The engine was shipped separately on a crate so it's likely just residual from being laid down burning off

The shifting is an easy fix, but tons of work to access the controls.

Best get off here and get my wrenches swinging

99.9% of neighbors I've had did not want you on their land doing anything, much less riding a 4 wheeler. The guy beside us, his brother takes care of their land (83 acres). He came by Thursday last week and brought us a couple blackberry plants and ask if we wanted the bug infested cabbage out of his garden for our chickens.

We all loaded up in the truck Saturday and went to see he and his wife (he's retired from the Army, not sure what she retired from). This is the 2nd time he's pointed to a trail that comes out behind his house and has told me to come see him on our 4 wheeler, he said it winds around about a mile. When you get to the creek take a left, if you go right you'll come out somewhere else.

He said you can take your truck through there if you want to.

I thought about it for a minute then said I better not, not until I see what the trail actually looks like.

We got to talking about the kids hunting, he said if you see any deer in that field beside Perry's (his brother beside us) to whack em. Perry has told us that too.
