anyone go to Lundy road lately? I've been meaning to head up that way but the 4runner is still stock just wondering if its just your typical dirt road you see around here

 

Haven't been in a couple years but it was starting to wash out pretty bad towards the back when i was. Up until the creek is maintained forest road now though, so that would be stock friendly at least

 

We should check it out

 

I'm down for that. I also heard Trails End Road is similar

 

I've wanted to see how far in I could get, heard it pops out somewhere at least

 

I was on Lundy road a few weeks ago it wasnt bad. Made it to the stream. Looked pretty over grown on the other side. Where is trails end road?

Ran falkens as my first set, I liked them in sl 265/75 but the bigger LT tired get pretty heavy. Currently running milestar patagonia's and love them

 

Hey all, nice to see other New Yorkers on here. I'm in Saranac Lake, but I've lived in a few different parts of the state. Still searching for spots to off-road in my current area. I thought I'd be able to find more dirt roads out here but I think access is a little bit tighter due to all the other outdoor action going on. I probably just need to get out of town a bit further and explore, but that's what makes it fun.

 

Start driving east is what I've gathered so far lol

 

@Thundertank I was just up your way for a week to do a canoe trek with my son's Boy Scout troop out of Floodwood Mountain Boy Scout Camp. Unfortunately not much legal off roading or even dirt roads worth driving within the confines of the Adirondack Park. I've run Moose River Plains from Indian Lake to Inlet on my snowmobile a bunch of times and it'd be cool to take the Taco through in the fall I bet but not really a challenge at all.

Looking for somewhere to mount and road force balance wheels within 30-45min of mahopac. Any suggestions?

Uhhhhh road force balance... hmmm.... can't say I've used anyone in recent memory but gut is to always recommend Little Bear in Buchanan for wheel/tire/alignment stuff

 

I've used them for my Subaru's alignments a few years back I'll give them a shot when my tires come in
