    What kind of camera do you have? If your autofocus can’t grab the moon put it in manual. Most digital cameras from the past ten years or so will zoom in once you start turning the manual focus ring so you can get the focus nice and tight. Point it at a bright star and turn the ring until the star is a single bright/crisp point of light.

    I do have it on manual mode. This is one thing I been struggling with. Getting it focused before taking pictures. I just cant get it focused. Keep in mind the camera im using is not the best. Canon Rebel T5. I was using a 75mm-300mm lens.

    Also i edited this picture to enlarge so that may have distorted the picture. This is how it looked before editing it.
