@12TRDTacoma or anyone who may know...I decided to go ahead and install ruthenium plugs for my brand new S/C. Are they to be gapped the same as what's mentioned for the iridium plugs in the TRD install instructions? Thanks!

I did not gap my ruthenium plugs before installing. I haven’t had any issues.
    Should you ? Maybe…

Thanks for the feedback. I'll measure and see where they're at and compare.

I could design a 3d printed spacer to make up that difference pretty easily.

That would require some fancy material. Regular PLA, ASA, even ABS I wouldnt trust in there..

I only fuck with abs-cf, nylon, etc. Stuff more than capable of handling the temps.

The abs-carbon would probably be ok.. Still.. not ideal for the application imo. Between engine temps and the ambient temps here in Az.. idk if I would want that potential in there.

For folks with their sensors going out in the Y pipe, if my AFR never drops below 14/15, is it time for a new one? The truck seems to run fine, but I noticed that it will no longer go below 14. I did put in a new fuel pump and noticed it after, but as of now, I do not think it's related but rather a coincidence.

My Bosch lasted about a month. Would read stoich and then fall lean, never went below 14.6.

The OE gap is what I run mine at. I don't recommend gapping them.

You may want to consider a new one if you are only seeing 14-15 AFR because staying at that all the time is definitely not realistic as far as PCM fueling strategy is concerned.

100% I figured its on its way out. Reading the rest it seems like mine lasted longer than expected.

Thanks for adding me to the forum . I really need some help. First let me list my mods .

    2008 FJ
TRD Supercharger (fully rebuilt by SCOL recently)
    TRD ECU
    TRD Injectors
    Doug Thorley headers
    URD 02 eliminators
    URD 2.7 pulley
    AFE intake
    CBS Radiator
    Walbro 255 pump

I did the headgaskets in November and added the headers, 02 simulators , and 2.7 pulley.

I have two issues I’m constantly fighting. I am having to replace denso upstream 02s on the drivers bank every 1000 miles or so. They keep getting stuck in the lean range. I Always use the denso ones .

The second issue is when I floor it or go past 40% throttle the ecu looks to be dumping fuel. If anything I should be running leaner . Progressively got worse where anytime I give it anything it defaults to 10:1

I’m at a loss with this stuff . I’ve been troubleshooting it for 6 months replacing MAF sensors , 02 sensors, cleaning throttle bodies etc . Facebook groups are useless so I came in here
