Plugged in a coffee maker when the power was out… worked well, but truck did have to be running…. But that coffee was worth it..

Charging a Jackery and powering a battery backup electric refrigerator are the best uses I’ve seen.

With engine running, I used a Kett doublecut to halve a corrugated roofing panel in Lowe’s parking lot.

The 400w anytime mod is a requirement. From there, it can charge tool and R/C batteries pretty effectively as many chargers are 3A anyway.

Air mattress pump, holiday lights, charging batteries. Also got the 400W while driving + AC outlet in the cab, makes the inverter much more useful. Great for charging laptops and other electronics on the go during road trips.

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
I ran lighting in a trailer until the generator got set up (mobile machine shop, I was not allowed to run the rented industrial generator).

Also recently used it to run a circular saw to build some shelving at a rented storage facility. Another guy had his Milwaukee AC circ saw in his truck but no power, neither of us had our cordless saws. It started slow, and barely got up to speed, but it was better than knawing through those 2x4's with a leatherman.

It’s one of those things, like the GoPro mount on the windshield, that I thought would be super useful when I bought the truck. I haven’t used either once.

I have added a plug in the center console and use it for my laptop when I need to work from the truck. I haven't found a use for the one in the bed.

I put in 400w anytime and an outlet in the cab.

I plug in all kinds of stuff... Tool batteries, pc, all kinds of electronics / lights / powerpacks, etc... It is great on long trips - eapecially in the sticks.

Think just like charging an ev. You don't need to fill up (charge) batteries all at once. Time is your friend since most of the time you are NOT draining your batteries.

My 400 watts air compressor to inflate my tires when off-roading or help other’s when their tires is low on air.

Or on anything that is under 400 watts.

I was super underwhelmed to find out that the 1200w outlet on the Trailhunter requires the engine to be on- despite the Hybrid battery.

We have a 1200 watt outlet on the RAV4Prime- but you can turn the displays and things off on that- and that big ass battery will run a Walmart A/C machine all night long for 25 miles of battery. Super useful when camping in places that don't allow generators and don't have AC power.

Oh also- 1st gen Starlink that requires AC power.

I've used it to run a small Dewalt air compressor to air back up after driving on the beach. I also used it to run a Bosch sawz-all saw once when helping to clean up after a flood, and didn't have access to powere where I was working. If I remember correctly, I was able to run the saw with the engine off, so it must have drawn less than 100W. I worked for several hours, periodically starting and idling the engine every half hour or so to make sure I didn't fully kill the battery. It was quite useful!
