What do you think about changing out the fender flares? I have a super white and just picked up some grey flares.

    Has anyone done this?

Maybe change some other parts to silver to go with the flares...

I was thinking not as well. It looked a little too far south for my taste. I picked up the set for $100.00 off of Craigslist. The Dealership quoted me $287.00 per each flare and that didnt include the black rubber - that was an extra $30.00 per flare....Installation extra. yikes. When I found these on CL for $100, I thought is was a steal.

I havent decided if I should re-sell them or hang on to them for replacements if needed.

I noticed you had a sport, the best thing about the sport is the color matched parts, just my 0.02. Keep them for spares, or bedliner them and put them on.

I am no fan of the color matched flares and everything else Too "Limited" version for me for a truck...but those silver/grey ones would make the truck look like one of those early model ES300 Lexus' with the white over silver. The silver would put that over the top. However if that's the look you are going for paint the rocker panel area and bumpers silver as well..

I say go unpainted or just leave well enough alone and stay white...or plastidip them black...

Mine are stock unpainted but I would have plastidipped them if I did not find this one.

I see what you're saying. The silver in the fenders is supposed to mesh with the silver in the sport wheels. But it doesn't reallly work, IMO. Keep 'em white.

Thanks for all the great feedback! I think I will just keep them for replacements if needed. When speaking with the Dealership, they told me they can not get Super white color match flares from the factory so I would have to have them painted if I was going to use them on my truck - I love my Super White Sport TRD. Or Maybe, if there is a fellow TW in need, I might be able to help them out.

Exactly...and I will bet that was the Limited because I had an SR5 3rd Gen in Silver and would have bought another if Toyota had not turned them into Expeditions.....

3rd Gen 4 Runners were the last really nice ones and small enough to go in tight places off road

IF the OP is going to go that way he has to paint the lower panels and wrap it around.
