Ok- long story short. AC compressor on my 2012 Tacoma was bad- I replaced it with a cheap Amazon one. Exact replacement. When taking the old compressor out, the compressor pickup sensor harness (female side) pins pulled out of the goddamn connector. From what I remember, it was orange right, green middle, black left. Now, the pins are where not exactly placed inside the connector correctly, and i’m still trying to figure out a solution. But anyways, all back together, turn the truck on with freon ready to go, compressor turns on, clutch engages, then clutch turns off, while the “AC” button is flashing. I assumed it was the connector I f’d up. I unplugged the connector, started the truck up, now the blower and climate control doesn’t work at all. At this point i was livid, so i’m pulling the truck out the garage, and noticed now my ABS, parking brake, and traction control are illuminated on my dash. Thought “hm” that’s interesting. Rolled my windows down to see out of my truck, starts to rain. I go to roll my windows up, now my windows don’t work. I try to lock the door, it locks, then unlocks. What the fuck. I am about ready to light the truck on fire. How did I go from a bad compressor, to the fucking windows won’t even roll up. Super confused. For the love of god someone help me.

Can't help with the windows but you need to take the pickup sensor off the original compressor and mount it on the new one. These trucks don't like anything except an oem pickup sensor

    Bin there, dun that

Imma be honest, pulled the truck back into the garage and threw the biggest temper tantrum. I checked a few fuses, not sure any information processed through my brain at that time. I’ll check tmr.

I understand, and I did pull the OEM sensor off the OEM compressor, and mounted it to the new one. 1- what the hell do i do about the pins being pulled out of the connector. 2- why is there a christmas tree on my dash board. 3- how does any of that even correspond with an AC compressor?!?

First off check your IG1 No2 Fuse, it's probably blown. That should get everything else going again then we can address the lock sensor connector.

I can't tell you what the wire colors would be at the sensor itself as that info isn't provided but I can tell you what color each pin should coincide with at the compressor connector.

    Pin 1 White (Sensor Ground)
    Pin 2 Red/White (Sensor Signal)
Pin 3 Violet (MG CLT Power)

    Maybe I am just tired?
But are you sure on those colors?
My diagrams have 1 and 3 swapped from what you wrote?

Those pin numbers are at the compressor connector, they don't give the pinout/colors of the lock sensor connector on the wiring diagram but if you go to lock sensor test it can be deduced.

    Oh, ok.
I see, we are at the lock sensor.

    I'm still catching up.

Yup, the IG1 No2 fuse was blown, my windows, ac climate work; and it’s no longer christmas! Okay, i see the diagram you sent, my wires are different colors. I believe my green wire is the problem (middle wire). What are the chances I blew the relay for the AC? And what should i do to reconnect the harness together. It looks like the sell the female harness online that you can butt connect to the existing wires.

You have to trace the wires up to the main connector on the compressor and match them to the colors on the truck side.
Usually the new compressor comes with the compressor sub harness, I'm asuming yours didn't?
