But you would think they would have figured that out and with this whole new design tranny,
    gotten rid of it. Right?

One may choose to think that, sure. My opinion is only my own, and my experience has been every generation of tacoma I've driven or taken a ride in has "clunks," usually attributed to driveline components. It doesn't change my love or fanaticism for the brand/model though.

You can’t grease the driveshaft on 24’s? That would explain why I couldn’t find anything in the manual about it

My opinion is still the same; my experience has been that driveline components (whether that include a greaseable or non-greaseable u-joint) are usually the culprit of those annoying 'coming to a stop' clunks.

The only time I've had that issue was when a U-joint was shot, probably from someone not maintaining them.

Mine has done it since day one on my 2009 and my 2016….. not a U joint issue. I did have my you joint go bad at about 80,000 miles on my 2016 but that’s a Night and Day difference from what mines done from the beginning

That car has seen more dirt than half the TRD off-road trucks Toyota has made.

Notice it was 3 sec faster than the 2nd gen Tacoma through the rally loop? Though the Tacoma made up the time after switching to better tires:

I am going to go with a typo on this.....but would be great if Beaman out of Nashville honored it for someone.

According to the database, the Vin number doesn’t exist for a double cab sport.

I've got money on an allocation. The truck shows in transit on the Toyota search page with a delivery estimate (August 13+) and is on the dealer's site. The sales guy says it's in port in Long Beach awaiting rail transportation.

It's never been on that GitHub database.

You still using a database that has not been updated since April 8th?

The GitHub data has all Toyota vehicles. I'm not sure when they are added since mine's at the port and isn't on there.

I believe I just updated it 2 days ago, or that's what it said when I went to use it 2 days ago and I hit the update button then.

Does that mean the Github data is for vehicles on the lot and not in transit?
