RCI's here. Still had to take them off to get to everything I needed today.

 

After 11 weeks in the shop dealing with backorder parts issues, I finally got my truck back...minus one part.

There's a wire in the headlight that you connect to change the color. Mine are aftermarket not OEM. Alpha Rex brand

 

Got my alignment at R4T today (sorry ToyTec... I'm impulsive... Also I still need to cancel my appointment with you)

Numbers are good, they said I didn't fuck anything up majorly. We're done! Minor tweaks here and there, mods down the line. But, we're done.

What I did today to my truck was turn on the AC cause it is freaking hot.

Is it me or does the Tacoma front camber look to angled in? Mine's correctly aligned within specs but it looks weird.

 

Yeah it does look like that generally I think, I had the same thoughts. I'd trust the numbers / shop, those machines are pretty accurate.

 

It’s not just you. After I installed my 5100s and took to the shop for alignment I was so sure that they had messed up because it looked like there was too much camber that I brought it back 2 days later and insisted they redo it to make sure. Came back the same. They were not impressed with me lol. But yeah. It looks a little off.

 

Yeah, I think it's an optical illusion based on other angles.

But what strikes me as different is when I see a highly lifted Tacoma with aftermarket control arms, coilovers, etc -it looks right. Maybe Upper Control Arms change the geometry some?

 

I have OME UCA's and it looks pretty good to me honestly, my back tired maybe look a little bit tilted in. I think the UCA's make a heck of a difference though.

Second this, mine has the camber look as well with the TRD lift (5100's). Most tacomas I see in parking lots have the same thing. I figure that it evens out once there are passengers in the vehicle and its moving.

 

Did this, very pleased! Just need to clean it up a bit more.
