    Good Morning All!
    Up at 0200 so I walked the dog- damned bugs are horrible around here. It seems like the deer flies are off the charts in the daylight. Little no-see-ums and gnats are prolific in the dark. This summer's weather has been really hot, stormy/rainy, and unpleasant. I think that has an effect on insect hatchings.

    We’ve had about 5” or rain over the last few days. The local semi pro baseball teams field is flooded, the knucklehead news reporter did there broadcast from kayaks in center field. The baseball field is right next to the Kalamazoo River o_O

    We had lots of rain up until a few weeks ago. Now things are dry. The weatherman said this is the 6th hottest summer on record, so far, for our area. Surprisingly, 3 of the top 5 are from the 1800s. Little carbon emissions then. :notsure:
