Is it me or does the Tacoma front camber look to angled in? Mine's correctly aligned within specs but it looks weird.

Yeah it does look like that generally I think, I had the same thoughts. I'd trust the numbers / shop, those machines are pretty accurate.

It’s not just you. After I installed my 5100s and took to the shop for alignment I was so sure that they had messed up because it looked like there was too much camber that I brought it back 2 days later and insisted they redo it to make sure. Came back the same. They were not impressed with me lol. But yeah. It looks a little off.

    Yeah.
Yeah, I think it's an optical illusion based on other angles.

But what strikes me as different is when I see a highly lifted Tacoma with aftermarket control arms, coilovers, etc -it looks right. Maybe Upper Control Arms change the geometry some?

I have OME UCA's and it looks pretty good to me honestly, my back tired maybe look a little bit tilted in. I think the UCA's make a heck of a difference though.

Second this, mine has the camber look as well with the TRD lift (5100's). Most tacomas I see in parking lots have the same thing. I figure that it evens out once there are passengers in the vehicle and its moving.

Factory battery reached the end of its life in my 2017 Tacoma. New Kirkland Signature (Costco) 24F installed (6/24 date sticker). OE was 7 years old and had 78,000kms (~48,000 miles) on it.

I also wonder if certain tire sizes make it look more obvious. I run skinny 255 and as stated it’s very noticeable. I don’t remember noticing it so much when I had 265 on.

Been putting off tire rotation due to other projects (painting house), heat, and generally any other excuse I can think of. Woke up today and said F it, I'm driving up the road to @Discount Tire and letting them do it. Wasn't really sure about the financial arrangement. Didn't buy the tires there (OEM Duratracs) but I did have them swap tires from OEM wheels to my current steelies. Of course they also did a balance at that time. So today they did the balance and rotation. They used the cross-over method and not the front to back Tacoma method, which I was fine with. I was there about 30 mins. Total cost = $10 tip for tech.

I'd loosen all lug nuts and re-torque to spec and also check air pressures. Tire people especially ones that do rotations usually aren't "techs".

Tomorrow makes 1 year that I've had the truck. The only downside is how easy it is to spend money.889E60C6-E07F-4154-AAA3-566796A2B414_1_201_a.jpg B6D69130-AC82-434B-88B3-B5570721767A_1_201_a.jpg A61D9216-EED0-477F-933E-9A6EEAE187CC.jpg FD0A04D5-8BAA-4C84-B746-A6AFC533AC8B_1_201_a.jpg
