Less than five grand, must be newer than 1995 so it has OBD2), must have a clean title, and must have working A/C…

You are in Corolla territory there.
Camry might be hard to get in that range.

It happens, I’m sure he’ll be fine.
Just stay away from him until he gets better.

My dad has COVID for the third time in just under two years; I was initially worried that I’d caught it from somebody at the nursing home and unknowingly had it, but it turns out that my dad caught it from one of his coworkers. He wasn’t feeling good on the day he tested positive, but is largely asymptomatic now.

My dad got it for the first time in August 2022, on a business trip to Florida, and subsequently gave it to my mom.

I got it for the first time from an unknown source right after Thanksgiving in 2023, and gave it to both of my parents a second time.

My dad first tested positive on Sunday night and my mom continues to test negative.

We are all vaccinated, and it took me nearly four years after the pandemic started to catch it!

Amanda had it three times prior to us dating, and in spite of the fact that we kissed (among other things :D) and spent a lot of time together right before I tested positive, she didn’t get it.

My parents, especially my mom, have both been super careful; I have honestly been incredibly reckless, at least compared to my parents, since probably the summer of 2020.

I went to car shows and other large events, and regularly hung out with my friends. I would say that I probably haven’t a worn a mask for COVID-related purposes since sometime in 2022. My psychiatrist and psychologist work out of the same practice, which required masks in the waiting room regardless of vaccination status until the end of May 2023; I am vaccinated and had been disregarding the mask requirement for months at that point without issue.

As of right now, I have a stuffy nose, but I am 99% sure that is related to spending a lot of time at Amanda’s and playing with her cat (I am allergic to cats); I otherwise feel fine and will be going into work as planned!

I haven't had it yet. Or if I did, I didn't know it.
My brother's family has it. So I guess it's making a come back.

I got things to do. I'm not letting it slow me down.
If I get it, I get.
    Hopefully it won't kill me.

I highly doubt that it will kill you, but it is very possible that you’ve had it and did not know it!

Twice at separate times. Kids have never had it to our knowledge.

My original transmission, which lasted an impressive 203K miles. It still works, but it whines at idle and during acceleration. It also seemed to be shift noticeably rougher and doing a lot of “gear hunting”. The oil pump could have been replaced, but at over 200K miles, I don’t trust this transmission not to have another problem. The transmission would have to come out anyway to replace just the oil pump, and it would probably cost over a grand. I am paying roughly $2,500 for parts and labor to install a used transmission with only 22K miles!

The replacement transmission has been installed and my truck will probably be ready tomorrow morning; I also got a new rear main seal as part of this job!

In my case, it was the oil pump. How many miles did you have?

Oil pump was scarred on mine. 130k but mine was caused by offroad abuse.
