    Good evening everyone

Im looking to get a bed cover for my 17 trd off road w the 6ft bed

I’ve have looked at some really not sure what brands I should look at or stay away from

my Tacoma has the 6ft bed I would like to still have full use of my bed for hauling items and putting plywood in the trunk
Do you recommend installing it yourself or have a shop to install it

I live in Baltimore Maryland if anybody has some rec that would be very helpful

thanks for your help and time

Are you talking about a tonneau cover or shell? I've had a couple of SnugTop shells & have had pretty good luck with them. I'd have it professionally installed...

Truxedo truxsport for the money. Use my truck for truck stuff and it's quick and easy to roll or unroll. Wait for a sale. I think realtruck carries them. Got mine for about 300 a year ago. That should make it 500 now. Still a deal. Kidding. Probably can be had for about 320-340 on sale.
    No ragrets!

I installed a trifold hard top. It can be folded when needed or easily removed if needed. I like the solid top for security. Once on place it is almost impossible to get in short of using a ply bar.

Another vote for the Truxedo Truxsport. Realtruck offer a discount for TW folks. I originally bought a Lomax tri-fold hard cover, which is very nice. I decided quickly that although removable for full-bed access, it was rather burdensome to handle so I switched to the soft roll-up cover. I couldn't be more pleased.

I vote non-branded eBay roll up. Less than $150, and works as good as the main stream brands without the brand tax
