Can you get a suction line temp off problematic unit? If it is "warm" it probably is low on charge. If it is "cold" it is probably an airflow issue. Suction line temp tells an awful lot about what's going on.

Old timers used to say "beer can cold" was the temp you were looking for if you don't have a thermometer to read actual temp. This of course is winging it to the max, but it gets you down a path.

I'd check suction line at outdoor unit on both units to be safe. I have encountered situations were the downstairs unit actually failed yet caused the upstairs unit to look like it was the problem unit.

I should add that typically with the weather where we are at, mid 50's-low 60's suction line temp is what I would probably be expecting to see on a correctly functioning unit.

The only thing stopping us from having the tech come right now is that my dad is still testing positive for COVID. Luckily, the upstairs unit seems to be keeping the temperature where we want it, and I’ve got a window unit in my room…

It's been raining good for the last 1/2 hour and still coming. It looks like almost an 1 1/2 of rain, so far. It's need. The grass is brown.

Meanwhile we keep getting passed over. Common thing around here. Mountains to the West ward it all off :annoyed:

I'm honestly surprised they haven't put water restrictions on in town. o_O

We're getting some too, first measurable rain in at least a couple weeks. Hoping it continues and doesn't just go past

Yep! Idk if that is going to be torn down as well. When I was a little kid, I would get so car sick when we drove near the paper mill lol. Hard to describe, sulfer smell

Oh yeah I know exactly what you're talking about. I got that from the roaring spring paper mill. We could smell it if the wind was blowing the right way from my house as a kid.

Good morning Keystone, we got lots of good rain last night in Berks county. I'm glad to see the humidity go away for a few days, everyone stay safe out there.

Good morning to all. We also got a good amount of rain, but it was a quick downpour. Yes, at least the humidity will hopefully be lower today compared to the last couple of days. Drive safe.

Good morning. I think it rained again overnight. Rain wasn't forecasted, so I took the covers of the deck chairs. When I went outside a short time ago I noticed the deck and the chairs are wet. Sneaky rain.

Good morning Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. I was expecting a good thunder storm last night welp that never happened I think we got less than .15 of rain it completely went around my area. Feel nice out now it's saying a high of 84 today. After yesterday I'll take it.
