Local dealer does not have any 4th Gen trucks to look at. All seem to be pre ordered and gone soon as they get unloaded. But people are trading in 3rd Gens and I counted 20 plus about half being the SR5 models. Same thing as 2016 we couldn’t find a new truck because all were pre ordered. Maybe it’s a buyers market now for 3rd Gen.

I traded in my 2023 sr5 for $36,500 and got my new discounted 4th gen for $38500. They had 3 on the lot and basically begged me to buy it, end of the month they claimed and needed it off the lot. You might be able to work out a similar deal come the end of July or just wait until a couple 4th gen’s are sitting around not selling at end of the month.

This is surprising. Feels like the opposite of this most places, no one is buying the 4th gen and 3rd gen’s are above original MSRP.

Why lol? That engine was nothing special. The t24a-fts blows it away in every category

based on bumping 20 or so threads with one liners in the past 10 minutes, then posting in the BST forum, I don't think there was any intent, other than to post in BST forums.

Just looking at the 4cyl the serviceability on it looks cheaper and easier. Sorry man but the power difference is incredible, I don’t see why anyone would have hate towards the 2.4 turbo, even if there are issues that pop up, the v6 has issues for 8 years in which most of them continue today with virtually zero improvement over the years.

I hope it actually does well. I’d take a NA truck over a turbo charged truck for the long run any day of the week.
