Got my rust warranty settlement today

Was actually higher than I was expecting. It's a very generous offer, until you start looking for a similar replacement (1st gen Xtra cab 4x4 TRD Off Road).

There aren't a lot of after market items on the truck, but is there anything I should take off of it before they crush it? I only had the truck for a few weeks, so it's pretty much all stock.

 

Do you have round cup holders in your center console? I would be interested in that, the square holders are useless.

 

The fender flares take those off.

 

Pull the seat belts out if they're still working. 1st gens have an issue with the return springs getting weak, making you slam your belt in the door every friggin time you get out of the truck.

 

strip it completely! down to the frame

 

I'd strip anything you could sell - even if cheap. That's a little more cash for your new ride. Radio and HVAC controls might be something you could sell.

 

what color is the interior?? if its grey id be interested in the piece that holds the carpet down on the driver side door.. and also seats if its the 60/40 my driver side seats ripped.

This is the same piece I am looking for as well....Seems it gets a lot of abuse and will no longer stay in place. What color is this item?

 

I am looking for the circuit board on the back of the ac unit that the light bulbs mount too. If you would PLEASE take that out I would buy it for sure. Its easy to get to if you are going to take the radio and stuff out.

 

recovery points. my roommate's prerunner just went to the crusher and i meant to grab that hook from under the front but didn't get around to it. mine only has one on the passenger side. it'd be sweet to have both

 

I dunno how that frame shit works , but I'd damn sure read the fine print before I started taking a bunch of shit off thats not aftermarket...just my $.02...
