    I passed through Amarillo on a Boy Scout trip to Philmont high adventure camp. We ate at a steak house there that had a huge steak eating challenge. Eat it in so many minutes and it’s free, if not it was pretty expensive lol. Don’t remember the name of the place, food was good.

    Good morning fellas.

    That’s the place.

    Going to Philmont we stopped at Palo Duro Canyon for a few hours, hiked down into the canyon, had a steak dinner and watched a show. Loaded back up on the bus and woke up at the scout camp. On the way back we ate at the Big Texan. We all thought it was some nice country around Amarillo.

    That darn 10mm 1911 messed up on me at the range again Monday morning. I can't get muscle memory to remember to rest my thumb on the lock lever. Darn thing catches the slide and pops the lever off. Think I'm gonna trade it in on a Springfield Armory 1911 10mm Ronin model. Back to single stack 8 magazine for the MooseMan ... this double stack ain't working for me. :frusty:
