Anyone replaced a mini split a/c unit before? Is it as easy to DIY as people say? Our condenser coil is leaking and the first quote we got for a new unit was a little bit of a shock.

I've got a 40 or 50 gallon tank for him, but he's getting a little big for it. He hasn't tried to dig under our walls or anything, we just had to put cinderblocks at the bottom of the side yard gate since he dug under that once when he was smaller. We found him accross the street under our neighbor's grill.

People who want their gardens left alone from "diggers" will make a trench (1 ft deep, 1.5 ft?) and put mesh-wire inside then put the dirt back. They say it keeps all but the most determined/deep diggers out ... in your case "kept in", maybe.

I have done a few. Extremely simple. I put one in in May for my son, 3 hours start to finish and I am slow. I paid under 600

I have a vacuum and adapter for the connection, gauges as well. I would be interested in your broken unit as well, I have plenty of opinions if you want them. DM me if you want my help.

Oh, he has his spot dug in my garden. He dug underneath the pool deck and vibes in there when it gets hot. He's not hurting anything since it is just next to a rose bush.

Desert heat adaptation does not mean you can sit out in the sun all day, it means developing protective behaviors.

In fun Show Low news today. Some dip shit decided to swing over to my wifes work today and put a package/box at the front door of the bank and walk off. Cops found him a few blocks away and arrested him. He was no cooperating with them with what was in the box. Bomb squad got called up from Tucson. Its all clear now and everyone is safe. I dont know what was in the box yet. Wife said she will fill me in tonight. I want to say they pissed off some customer and he had a bag of dicks in it.

Well come to find out. Dude was not a dipshit. He has dementia. Brought 2 empty briefcases to the bank to withdraw a bunch of money he thought he had. Set them down to open the door, bank was still closed and forgot the briefcases when he walked away. Was uncooperative cause he had no idea what was going on.

Sad day for those who watched TV in the 70s and 80s ... Bob Newhart passed.

For those who did not watch both "The Bob Newhart Show" (Suzanne Pleschette was the wife, he lived in Chicago) and "Newhart" (not "married" to Suzanne and his "wife" wore sweaters and he lived on rural Vermont) ... the final episode of "Newhart" had him going to bed in Vermont but waking up in his "Bob Newhart Show" bedroom with Suzanne and he acted like "Newhart" was just a dream ... and he begged Suzanne to not start wearing sweaters. That finale was a total surprise for fans and was quite well received.
