I’ve got to go pick up Mikala’s loot today apparently she has bid on a couch this time o_O I picked up seat covers for the 4Runner and an inverter also a dr heater for 2$. Apparently when everyone is about to burst into flames is a good time to bid on heaters.

Good morning everyone. Bill Gates has 85% of the civilized world shut down right now. We're all sitting in our cube staring at blue screens, getting paid to do nothing.

Happy camping Weeza, happy desert exploring Andy.

Yep, been reading all about the big MS / CrowdStrike FUBAR this morning. If I had found a new job in Major Incident Management already, I would not have gotten much sleep last night. Especially if I was working for MS or CrowdStrike

Stay tuned... This should drive more openings for related staff in the coming months, since this area tends to be highly funded in reactionary mode.

Last time I was unemployed (2015/2016), I got flown to Seattle to interview for a position with Amazon Web Services. I didn't get the job. A few months later, I had gotten a major Incident job with another company, when the big east coast AWS mega outage hit, due to an Amazon employee making a goof during deployment of an update or patch. I was grateful I hadn't gotn that job with AWS on that day

Gorgeous! Which lake, if you don't mind sharing? When I find a job, my wofe and I would like to look into renting a boat for a day and just floating around and seeing the sights. We are pretty close to Laurel lake.

no. Allergies are still making me a wreck. But since I quit drinking I’ve lost a bunch of weight and that has helped my back feel better. Blood pressure has been better too.

I think I’ll be moving on in a bit. Water is super low. Now way are the fishies going to want to come out and play. And the mosquitoes have found me already. And no campfires allowed. So not much to do if I stay here

I was thinking "cubby wubby womb room tea" ... from the movie " So I Married an Axe Murderer."
Do you remember the line? I can't find it on YouTube. :notsure:

Proud of you! Losing weight with this diabetes diagnosis has done wonders for my aches and pains, as well as my blood pressure. Feel a huge difference jumping in and out of the boat at Copper River and Whiskey Gulch this Summer.
    :fistbump: ❤️

So, how's your day ahead shaping up? Enjoy Baby Sister! :)

My wife works in HR, today’s Friday, happens to be payday, there’s a glitch in the system, most people didn’t get paid. Fortunately her and the payroll department didn’t get paid, thought she’d never say that. This really is a Cluster F&@$

That's how my wife plays it the couple times she's come to Whiskey Gulch. I (we) camp down by the beach, she gets a fully fitted cabin overlooking us up on the bluff. Comes down activities, campfire, and meals. Back to the cabin overnight. :cookiemonster:
