Haven’t heard of COD in years

I have a couple questions-
Has anyone ever sent or received something COD?

What were the circumstances?

If so, is it cash only? Do you get a receipt?

Do they still do COD?

 

With some luck the machines will be running again soon. I'm about to head for Kroger to get some groceries. I'm hoping the cards are working when I get there, but if not I'm taking some cash with me just in case. I don't want do drive 30 miles for nothing.

Took the Camry in for service earlier today and was left with no gas, and of course they needed to drive it. Luckily the place I went I tapped my card at the pump no problem.

Worse came to worse I did have like $20 in one's in my wallet
