    How's it goin, Eric?

I'm scheduled to meet with my Area OTT Tuner this weekend/Sunday.

Other than that, getting though another Hot Week...today there's Sever Weather/Excessive Heat Watch.

There's a 35% chance of rain on Wednesday...other than that, sunny for the entire week.

    Good to hear!

Getting your tune changed? What are you now and what you planning on?

    I have Version 9; Mild Drive/Spicy ECT

Started off with V7, Med/Spicy (May/2022) and I had a hot foot with that setting! lol

    Had settings changed Jun/2022.

    Most recent update was Oct/2023.

MPGs are pretty much the same but the torque is great with ECT engaged.

Using S-Drive without ECT is mostly what I use...and is responsive!

    Howdy DE from DELCo PA,

I've been considering the OTT as a future mod. Does it make much sense for someone like me that uses my Tacoma primarily as a daily driver?

    Thanks,
    Chris

    Yep!

I think some OTT let you try it out and will offer to put back to stock if you’re not happy with it. At least I want to say I remember that.

Maybe Ed’s tuner will comment or Ed can tag him. I can’t remember his TW name.

The tune is great, it helps shifting and makes drive smoother. If you take it easy on drives you’re probably ok with stock. If you want a better and more responsive truck, try out OTT

    Gmorning Delaware + TriState Area.

My Tacoma is my daily driver and work is roughly 5 miles from home.

There are times when acceleration is needed so I’ll engage ECT on the fly.

If I’m on straightaway I’ll engage 4H and press ECT for some serious traction.

If you feel inclined, engage S-Drive while in this mode. lol

Have a great day everyone and see you on Sunday Allan!

    Evening all,

Storms blew threw two nights in a row. Lights flickered and some small branches down. Wish there was more rain where I live. Plants really need it.

Thanks for the comments on OTT tune. I'm more of a mild driver and average around 21 MPG. I've not really noticed the gear hunting that others speak of. So maybe a tune wouldn't be that much a change for me.

    Hey Eric!

I'm looking forward to meeting up with Allan this Sunday in Swedesboro; I'll update OTT info afterwards.

The rain is supposed to make it cooler today but it's still warm in the warehouse I'm in.

My Sport is running like a champ as a daily driver...I'll post my mileage and how much my fuel gauge changes from a full tank.

It's roughly 67 miles one-way from Dover...looking to see how much an estimated 140 miles consumes. lol

I lived in Sussex County for a couple summers back in college. I would retire there in a heartbeat.

Good day Delaware + TriState Area.

Getting ready for my drive up North and crossing the Delaware Memorial Bridge.

Traffic flow is fine up through Toll at Biddles Corner...Google Maps has an alternate trek thru Route 9 instead of the 95.

Should be an interesting drive since I've never gone thru and seen Deemers Beach.

Welp, I'm good with my OTT...did not need the CARB Cert.

As for traffic on the 1...typical 2-lane activity...slow drivers staying in the fast lane...and not trying to merge by accelerating.

As for "Deemers Beach", I drove right by the entrance (which wasn't marked).

Route 9 is pretty much industrial and marshy area.
